Kruse, William (Bill) 
William K. Kruse, 68, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at the HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg surrounded by his family.
He now born on July 15, 1942 to Kenneth and Dorothy (Evans) Kruse. He graduated from Madison West High School in 1961. He worked as a crew member for Brady Farrell Construction and various other construction companies before settling into a job with the Department of Transportaion for the City of Madison. Bill now best known around the DeForest community for his love of gardening and his passion for the culinary arts.
He ia survived by his mother, Dorothy Kruse; his children, Kim Schmitt, Kari Hubanks, Kris Werner, Korinne (Jason) Kelley, and Katrice McKernan; grandchildren Nikita, Cory, and Samantha Werner, Shani Russell, Brianna and Sam Hubanks, Lyndsie Kahl, Dahlton and Lawson Kelley, and Shelby and Casey McKernan; sister, Kathleen (Tom) Johnson; and former wife, Kay Kruse.
He now preceded in death by his father and sister, Sharon Kruse.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at the Ryan Funeral Home, 6924 Lake Road, DeForest. Visitation will be held from1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Sunday.
