Frappier, Gay Anne (Buss) (Gronli)

Gay Anne (Buss) Frappier, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 29,
2009. She was born on Oct. 17, 1943, in Mount Horeb, the daughter of
Orville and Eleanor (Handel) Gronli. Gay married Dick Buss. He preceded
her in death. Gay married Dennis Frappier on Aug. 5, 1997, in Sturgis,
S.D. She worked for the State of Wisconsin as a program assistant in
funding for kids with disabilities for 31 years, retiring in 2002. Gay
currently worked at Pierce's Market since 2006. She was a past president
of the Women's Auxiliary VFW Post No. 8483. Gay enjoyed reading,
boating, riding motorcycles, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis; children, Tom (Linda) Buss,
Roger (Carol) Langkamp, Bobbi (Dan) Laabs and Terri (Patrice) Buss;
stepchildren, Dave (Chrissy) La Fleur, Dan (Tammy) La Fleur and Dawn
(Dan) Vinson; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three
brothers, Doug Gronli, Don (Gin) Gronli and Dan (Sharon) Gronli; and
several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Gay was preceded in
death by her parents; first husband, Dick; sister, Sally Evans; and
brother, Dennis Gronli. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST
FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct.
3, 2009, with Deacon Todd Martin presiding. Burial will be at Highland
Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until
8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, 2009. "To the love of my life, I love you and
always will."
