I won't make it to the reunion because we are heading to Hawaii for the
mid-August marriage of our son Bjorn to long-time girlfriend Lisa. They've
been in Hawaii for 3 years and decided that was the place for the wedding!
Our grandson was born 2 mo. ago and is thriving - they live in Brooklyn NY
and we see them often. I'll soon have been 5 years at NHPRI and loved it -
but am retiring in Dec. 2006. Al retires from his 30+ years at the VA
Hospital in Feb. 2007. We've both enjoyed our jobs, but we're looking
forward immensely to retirement, to have more time to do all the other
things we love - travel, music, skiing, more time with family - and taking
care our latest Norwegian Elkhound; we picked Frida up in July at age 8
weeks.
