From Carol
Conway Barber:
Hello, Class of '61! Listening to a little Creedence Clearwater to get me in the "mood!" Sorry that I won't be able to attend the reunion, but I'm sure that you will party on without me!
I will be in
Chicago in July having fun with a friend from UW days who lives in
Madison but has a condo on the "Loop" for fun. I am trying to rebuild
my life after losing my dear husband of almost 40 years, two years
ago. It isn't easy.
I have a
gorgeous son and beautiful daughter-in-law who live near by and who keep
an eye on me. My daughter is an attorney working as an investment
banker in the Orient and Europe for the past seven years, but
at last, she, her husband and my baby granddaughter are moving back to
L.A. in a couple of weeks! They tell me that I have another grandchild
on the way! I am blessed!
I will be
retiring from our local Superior Court at the end of next year, and I
look forward to travel and being a rock n' roll Grandma! God Bless all
of you! Keep in touch! Love, Carol
