Jim and Sharon (Callies) Cameron:

We've just celebrated our 43rd Anniversary, have two great kids. Dan (42), a pilot with Continental Express. He's married, lives in Tampa FL and has a terrific 1 1/2 yr. old son, and Laura (38), who works for a Custom Home Builder, she is divorced, lives in the Texas Hill Country with our other grandson who is 5 1/2. We both are retired. Jim was a Prof. at the Univ. of TX, retired from that and we formed our own scientific instrument company and manufactured scientific laboratory equipment for many years, retired from that and decided he wanted to build real airplanes. His current plane is a 4 passenger and should be finished in 6 months or so. He builds them, flies them for a while then sells it only to start over building another. Sharon owned a Real Estate Company for 20 years, as well as serving on the local School Board for many years, City Planning Commission, and Hospital Expansion Committee. Lately she has been immersed in the total renovation of our home and the custom greeting card art business.

After graduation from U.Wis (1965), we moved to an island off the Texas Coast, after Jim completed his PhD we moved to Vancouver Canada, then on to Alaska and a cabin in the woods for almost 5 years, then back to Texas where we remained (sort of) we lived in Germany for a year while Jim worked at a Max Planck Institute and then back to Texas.

After our official retirement, we moved "inland" off the coast and away from hurricanes, to the Hill Country of Texas, just west of San Antonio . We have been avid, keen birdwatchers for almost 30 years which has allowed us to travel to some wonderfully out of the way places. We love South America and spend a lot of time there both in the jungles and mountains enjoying the beautiful scenery and amazing birds.

We will not be able to join you for the reunion, but our thoughts are with all of you -knowing what a grand time it will be.
